Why love has

When I give my heart away, you know that  it is forever. As i give my love i give my world to you.
And as our lives unfold for us. We'll watch them bloom together every moment. We shall
See the world anew.
Who can say why love has brought us here. Who can say where love will lead? It's enough to know that love will show the way. And to you we take to love, in both our fullness and our need. Well be ever living as it is today. So here, we stand together and here we make a stand. To offer love and holiness, in faith to understand...
That if living is for loving and if only truth is true, Then i dedicate myself to loving you. As love roots out the obstacles and bring them up to see, we shall offer them to truth and let them go...
Like a forgotten song remembered with words and melody. Love arises from within to take us home so here we stand together, and here we make a stand to offer love and holiness, in faith to understand.
That if living is for loving, and if truth is only true.
Then i dedicate myself to loving you.

do you love me or am i just a game?

Do you understand me?
Do you feel my pain?
Do you really love me?
Or am I just a game?

Did you mean what you said?
Or do you lie just for fun?
Did you mean to hurt me?
When it was all said and done?

Do you really care for me?
Did you really cry?
Did you really mean the things you said?
Do you want to try?

I cannot love you again
cuz you put me through to much pain
I cannot love you again
Because, I was just a game.

a Memory

You walked in to my life,
But just like that,
You walked back out,
Still you will be a memory,
A memory that I have created in my mind,
Still you will be a memory,
A memory that will always be locked,
Away in my heart and my mind,
I will always have a memory of you in my heart,
And I will always carry that picture of you in my mind,
Still you will be a memory.

How my lovely new city got it's name

How our lovely city, got it name

As I travel through the area of downtown Portland, I notice that not are we only rich in history but also in culture, monuments, as well friendly people. Portland as we know it today is a lot different now then back in 1843’s, where we had no electricity or streetcars and people running back and forth from 1 place to another. When Mr. Pettygrove and Mr. General Lovejoy Came upon this land they were just passing thru on the Willamette River had no idea in mind that they would settle here and make it their home. At that moment, overcome by the beauty of the land and the area.

Now as you think about this, you would not think of Portland being anywhere else, if someone came to you and said. Did you know that Portland was going to have a different state name? That would make a person wonder, as I go into how Portland became who we are today think about the different area of the world we would be in. and wonder would we be them and them be us?

A settler named Mr. Overton discovered Portland in 1843; he saw great potential for this mountain area filled rich timberland. The only problem was Mr. Overton was lacking a quarter to file a claim for the land. Therefore, he sold his half of the land of 640 acres to Mr. Pettygrove and Mr. General Lovejoy for twenty-five cents. As Mr. Pettygrove, being from Main and Mr. General Lovejoy coming from Massachusetts wished to name this famous town and not being able to settle the matter at hand, to name the land. Therefore, they proposed a toss a coin, which tossed three times. Once for Boston head up and tails down three times for Portland. Moreover, that decision was, made in 1845 during a dinner party in Oregon City. So our lovely city we live in simply made by a coin toss.
